Episode 24: Coffee!
That's good coffee!
Get a hot steaming cup of podcast! I've got an interview with legendary small coffee roaster Bill Clarke from The Cheese Shoppe in State College (who tells us how to get a better cup of coffee at home), my memories of a visit to a Mexican coffee plantation, and my first experience with a Pumpkin Spice Latte.
I got Goosed! I went to my first Goose Day in the Juniata River Valley, with goose dinners, goose chili, and a couple on-the-side new beer tank samples at Shy Bear Brewing. It was a fun day.
Next episode? Cathy and I are going to Denver (we'll actually be in Denver as this episode drops), and I'm going to get a serious whiskey interview there. I'll be stopping in Kansas City for barbecue on the way back, so expect that barbecue bar to be set pretty high when we get home.

Loved it!!! Bill is the same guy as always. I would stop at his shop every time I was in town for training for 25 years. He became one of 3 reasons I got into roasting and eventually opened my own micro roast and cafe.
